Kite turns sleep data into one score and one small change a day. We designed the app, its motion and the component library behind it.
The brief
Kite tracked everything about sleep and explained nothing. Users opened the app, saw six charts and closed it.
What we made
One score, one suggestion and one chart a day. Motion does the explaining: the score fills like a tide as the night summary loads. A component library keeps the watch and phone apps in step.
What changed
The app launched at 4.8 stars, and daily opens doubled in the first month.
